Emelda's Story
Life
(Now Photo): My husband, Michael of 14 years and I.

I had both of my kids while still in high school, at 16 and 17 years old to be exact, as some of you might remember. My daughter, Shellanie (26) and son, Derringer (25) are only 8 months apart. My son was premature and born at 6 months old. My daughter has 2 girls and my son has a son and 1 step-son. So, yes, I became a grandma 2 times at 41 years old! I have a grandson and 2 granddaughters. I also have a step-son. Most importantly, life is good.

Workplace
I was a Paralegal for 15 years. Worked for 3 different law firms during that time period. I quit my job in April of 2004 to help out in our transportation business (Five Star Transportation) and luxury golf cart business. I am now a stay at home wife.
Military
Never served in the military, but my husband served in the U.S. Marines Corp. and my son is currently serving in the U.S. Air Force.
