Emily's Story

Hello, you HHS Winter '50 alumni! I'm now known as Amy Albani and am a professional writer and editor. Previously I had a career singing opera in the U.S. and Italy. After I retired from opera, I continued to sing -- entertaining on cruise ships and in opera restaurants in Beverly Hills and Studio City, California. Along the way, I got married, to artist Frank Whipple, had two great kids, Frank Jr. and Laura -- then divorced, then re-married Henry Schulz, a real estate agent. After 14 years of marriage, I unfortunately became a widow and eventually moved to the San Diego area. I became a real estate agent, also taught singing and piano, and eventually became a writer. I now have ...Expand for more
a couple of books on Amazon.com. One is a mystery novel, "Adios, Aries," which I co-wrote with my niece, Leonie Tremaine, using the pen name of Leonie Albani-Tremaine. The other book is a spy thriller, "The Roman Game," which is now a Kindle Book on Amazon.com. (If anyone's interested in reading it, you don't actually need to own a Kindle -- if you buy the book for $2.99, you can get a free Kindle app for your computer!) And if any of you read either of my books and happen to like them, please write a review on Amazon.com! I've already heard from a few of you HHS guys and gals, and hope to hear from more of you, if you happen to remember me! Best of luck to all of you! Amy/Emily
