Life
I have a Bachelors Degree in Finance from UCA and I completed all my Accounting Courses at UALR. They wouldn't give me a actual degree because they didn't transfer all my courses and wanted me to retake 3 classes. I think not! Anyways, after 4 years of the corporate world (banking and Accounting), I came to work for my Stepmom, Betty Brinkley. She owns a shop in the Heights called Faux Pas. She never had children, so I am the one to take over the business...Expand for more
when she retires in the next 4 or 5 years. I have been here since September 2003. I am the "Business Manager/Accountant/Website Coordinator". I guess you could say I run the joint. She is currently teaching me all I need to know to own this growing business of 13 years. I never thought this is what I would be doing, but I must say it is a lot more fun than crunching numbers behind a desk all day.
I got married on October 29th of 2005. We live in Little Rock.
