Eric's Story
Life
After high school I attended UB and obtained a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering. I worked for CALSPAN for two years on missles and aircraft. I then went out to Stanford University in California for a Phd in Mechanical Engineering. I joined GM in 1988 and bought a house in Grosse Pointe Park, MI in 1992. I decided to go to Northwestern University in Chicago and graduate with an Executive MBA in 2000. I am currently the Global Director for Electrical, Controls and Software Development for GM. lobal IT development that GM uses to design the electrical / electronic systems that control the car (engine, transmission, chassis, body, etc.). I travel all over the world to meet with manage my global team (Europe, Asia, South America). I have been married for nine years, my wife's name is Teresa and she is an electrical engineer at GM. We have two boys ; Alexander (6) and Nicholas (3). I still have my cars from high school plus a few more (9 total). I work on them in an industrial building that I bought a few years ago.
