Eric's Story
HI old friends.
After graduating from OHHS in '72 I worked for the next year at nearby Rpley & Fletcher Company as an "entry level" reconditioner and all around plebe. Then I went to Indiana to Fort Wayne Bible College the following year. (I had become a "born again" Christian in April of my Senior year.) Coming back to Maine in the summer of '74 I soon became part of the Hosanna Church in the Welchville part of Oxford. I kept working at my education, receiving my Bachelor of Theology degree (finally) in '85. Then I continued by doing graduate work in the field of Church Growth via Cal Grad.
In the meantime I married fellow class of '72 member Nancy Rogers in March of '76. We raised 3 children together, and are now blessed to have 4 grandchildren and one on the way. We make our home in South Paris. I have been a staff pastor at Hosanna Church since June of '82, recently celebrating 30 years on staff. I also have worked part time at other things through the years, as Hosanna is sort of a little country Church and salary levels are definitely of the party time variety.

big part of my life. After becoming serious about the Faith I began to write the type of music now refered to as CCM (Contemporary Christian Music) along with the occasional traditional sounding piece. A couple of my songs are choral anthems as well. I have recorded several solo albums and several group albums through the years. Occasionally Nancy and I do a concert. A high point for me as a musician, was hearing the ENC choir do my choral anthem "Let There Be Light" before 6000 people at Congress '93.
Our children are all married with children. Adam is the business manager of the Auburn School District, and he plays drums on the worship team at his church. He and his wife Beth also have been part of several CCM bands through the years. Sarah is the choral music director and also general music teacher (piano, theory, etc) at Greely HIgh School in Cumberland. She also is one of Maine's finest Soprano singers, and heavily involved with the Choral Arts Society in Portland. Elizabeth is a skilled homemaker and Home Schooling Mom in Casco. She also plays guitar and writes the occasional song.
