After high school, I joined the Louisiana National Guard and started college. I missed the first gulf war but many of my friends and my first cousin (reggie harper) was called up for a few months. amily and I moved to Richmond, TX (about 27 miles south of Houston, and 3 miles southwest of sugarland, TX) I am currently a P. E. teacher for Alief ISD. I am still active in the Army Reserves with over 20 years of service. I just completed three years of active duty with my unit but I did not deploy overseas. My unit trains the Soldiers before they deploy. That's my story
