Eric's Story

Life My life in 4000 characters or less. Well, in 1991 I married Tammy Booth (PF class of 86'); now divorced. We have 3 kids, each born in 3 different states: Jeremiah Clifford (Las Vegas, NV), Sierra Casidy (Missoula, MT), and Bridger Reed (Lubbock, Texas). Following grad school in Texas, we moved to Oregon for a couple years, and then lived in Salt Lake City for 7 years before moving to St. George. Since graduating highschool, I have either been studying or working as a wildlife biologist. I can't beleive I get paid to walk around in the forest and loook for animals. Great kids, great work - life is good. School Post Falls High. What do I miss - cruising sherman, friends, party's at Spooners, beer in my big gulp cup, concerts in Spokane, hang'n out, no worries. College After PF high, I wend to NIC for a year (basically just another year of high school). I then went down to UofI where Tim Kelly and I were roommates. After nearly flunking out and going broke, I went back to NIC and graduated there with an AS in biology. Then back to UofI where Eric Nordtrom a...Expand for more
nd I were roomies. Partied a little less and finished my BS in Wildlife Biology in 1990. After working for several year, the family and I moved to Lubbock, Texas, where I finished my Wildlife MS from Texas Tech University. Currently, I don't ever care to study for another test ever again. Workplace After graduating from the University of Idaho I took a job as a wildlife biologist/environmental analyst on the Nevada Test Site. It was a great job doing what I like best - researching the natural environment. But, after 6 years in Las Vegas it was time to move on. My family and I moved back to Montana where I hope to find permanent work, but no luck. Instead, I scored a 6 month job as a biologist for the Forest Service and then left for Lubbock, Texas, where I completed my MS degree. After that, I took a job as a biologist for the BLM in Coos Bay, Oregon. My wife hated the rain and the low income, so I took a job offer from a former co-worker and moved to Salt Lake City, later transfering to St. George, where I am currently a biologist, NEPA guru, and computer geek.
