Eric's Story

Drafted 1970-1973 Kept in the Army for an extra period of time "For the Good of The Service" Went back to college at Millersville (when it was still a State College). Hired in 1977 with Conoco (Big Oil) in there Retail/Whole sale Division for about 18 yrs.,transferred to Pricing for about 5 yrs. then worked in the Finance Dept. for the last 7 yrs. of my career. retired in 2007 afterv 30 yrs., primarily due to the onset of Cancer. er surgeries and chemo and have been cancer free for 1 1/2 yrs. now. Both of my kids live in Houston, along with my beautiful granddaughter. With my job we lived in 3 different parts of Va.,lived in Colorado, Texas and Oklahoma. I worked in about 38 states during my career so I did see a lot of our country. Currently living in the Pa.Wilds as it is called about 25 miles North of Williamsport, Pa. Celebrated my 2nd Anniversary of being Cancer Free.
