Eric's Story
Here I am, 58 and wondering where the last 40 years had gone! I joined the Marines at 17, and twenty years later I left them for greener pastures. Since I spent a career as a jack of all trades and expert at none, I decided to pursue what I loved the most, which was to turn wrenches on airplanes. I worked at McDonnell Douglas in Long Beach, California for 8 years building airplanes. I then went to Fedex to work on the airplanes that I had built. ome nice times. It's so sad that some old school friends have passed on, I will always remember them and hold onto the memories. I would wish that you all, will have a memorable and blessed life as you continue your journeys and plan your retirements! - or not! Whatever you do, strive to be happy! I moved! My pre-retirement home is now in Barker, NY. I'm going to "bail" at 62, just to enjoy life a little before something happens - like I discover myself in the obituaries! About 30yrs ago, I thought I would die at the hands of a jelous husband, at the grand old age of 90. It'll probablely happen that I will get run over by a wheelchair in an old folks home. Barker's real quiet, house is way back from the road, and I got a whole forest behind me to relax in, a few miles north, I'll jump in Lake Ontario; yes in the winter I'll be plowing alot!
