Erica's Story

After graduating I went to LCCC...not my choice, I wanted to go to Kutztown to be a teacher...anyway that's another story for the psy and a long time ago...I got married in '78, had a daughter in '80, a son in '82,another son in '88...Worked for DayTimers for 5 1/2 yrs...then sold Tupperware for 20 yrs...Was an Executive Mgr for 17 of those 20 yrs...free car..gifts lots of perks,.. not alot of work.. I always partied!!!!Until they changed the system....I started at CVS Pharmacy part time as a chasier(my daughter got me a job)...My daughter then was in college living my dream to be a Teacher (she was only 17 when she grad)...my oldest son went from H.S. into the Marines and Served his country for 7yrs(4 active & 3 active reserve) with 1 tour in Iraq & 1 yr in Okinawa Japan...he received an Honorable Discharge as a Captain..Within 4yrs I was an Asst MGR...I then was promoted to a MGR with my own store in Quakertown where I ended my career while emptying a weekly delivery truck & hearing a "snap" in m...Expand for more
y back...I have been doctoring my back ever since...I just had back surgery...and hope that this helps...in the meantime my youngest son went from graduation ceremonies on a monday nite...also into swearing into the US Marines the next day...He has been in for 2 1/2 yrs now and is gearing up for his 2nd tour in Iraq, which he will be shipping out in March...My daughter grad.college and was a substitute Teacher for 4yrs & decided to change career...She is a Case Worker for LC Children & Youth...I also now have 2 Grandsons-Trent Voughn-19 months(my oldest son and his wife's)& Austin Jeffrey-15 months(my daughter & her husband's )...Well that is what I have been up to in the past 32yrs...Anyone who would like to get in touch... I am pretty much always here....just email me...would love to hear from some past classmates....Erica (Life hasn't been all work...I travel the country (especially the beaches!)alot...Concerts,Induction Ceremonies,and party with friends often...still LOVE to have a good time!!)
