Erick W.'s Story
Life
I am a Christian living in Dover, Tennessee with my wife and our three dogs.
I have two children, four step children, and 15 grandchildren as of May 2022. I have three books published after working a lifetime in Roofing and Carpentry. I spent two years active duty, Army. I served as a Point man in the 101st ABN Infantry in Vietnam for over ten of the eleven months and nine days that I was there.
I'm a member of The American Legion, The VFW, and NRA. My hobbies are hiking the wild places in America and physical fitness. Writing is my passion. I hope to get some of my fiction work made into movies. Mother Warned You has been sent for consideration to Hollywood film makers.
I'm a conservative (Tea Party) Republican who puts doing the right thing over how much is in my wallet.
My novel, Quiet Neighbors has finally been published. The rough draft was completed in 1998.

ng various strength exercises helps take the edge off. I go to the wilderness alone to relax including during the heat of the day in Arizona, summer or winter. I used to do that alone at night for hours at a time. Now, I don't see or hear as well. My wilderness time is generally reserved for daylight hours, dawn to dusk. I still road hunt snakes at night which is lonely enough on back roads after midnight.
People who know me well would tell you I'm soft hearted and easy going. People who don't know me very well would probably describe me as scary.
I'm greatly impressed with my wife's intellect. I suspect that she is a tad smarter than I in more than one area, but not all. For street smarts and survival, she turns to me. If there is a spider in the house or a knock at the door after dark, I get to be the boss briefly. (Don't I dear?)
