Ericka's Story
Life
Ericka Brown Davis was elected to serve on the Clayton County Board of Education in 2000. Ms. Davis was re-elected to the Board in 2002 and 2006. In 2005, Ms. Davis was voted unanimously to serve as Chairwoman of the Board.
Ericka Davis currently serves as the Director of Communication for the Georgia State Financing and Investment Commission, the Georgia Building Authority and the State Properties Commission.
She is a graduate of the University of Georgia and holds a Master ...Expand for more
of Science degree in Technical and Professional Communication from Southern Polytechnic State University.
Ms. Davis was selected for the 2003 Class of the Regional Leadership Institute by the Atlanta Regional Commission. In 2004, she won the National Association of Government CommunicatorÂs Award of Excellence for Writing.
She attends Siloam Church International where she serves as Coordinator of the Scholarship Fund.
She is the proud mother of one daughter, Jessica Leigh-Ann.
