Life
Who knew I would be living in Omaha, Nebraska. I'm still in disbelief. Its affordable, low on traffic and friendly, just darn far from California and any body of water.
Anyway, I work as the Director of Client Services for Nebraska AIDS Project. I'm responsible for HIV case management, mental health, volunteer services and housing services throughout Nebraska and in southwest Iowa. Part time work includes teaching social work courses at University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) and completing home approval studies for prospective foster parents....Expand for more
Following high school I attended Long Beach State for BA in Psychology then obtained a master in Social Work at UNO. Though a liscenced therapist, I'm not practicing right now.
I live with my partner, Kristin. She is the Development Director for the YWCA. We have two boys Kadin (2.5 years old)and Cameron (six weeks old). Parenting is awesome.
If money was no object I would buy and rehab houses and relandscape stuff. I've done that a couple times but ...money made me simplify.
I'm always interested in new foods, music, places, careers...
