Ernest (Ernie)'s Story
Life - Aloha, I graduated form the University of Dallas with a BA in Drama and from Southern Methodist University with an MBA in General Business and MA in Arts Administration. I then worked in theater management for 12 years in Dallas, New York, Boston and Honolulu. I arrived in Hawaii in 1996 and decided to stay. I now work as a Senior Account Manager for Honolulu Fish Company. Occasionally, I act in local TV commercials and have been an extra on the TV show LOST. I have neen recently divorced after 9 years of marriage have no children but do have a cat. I enjoy to travel internationally.
School - The teachers I remember the most are Mr. DeLuca and Mr. Mulligan because of their involvement in directing Cabaret as the school musical. My role as a chorus member was small but it was an experience that I enjoyed and helped take me on a career path into theater management which was a rewarding experience.

Workplace - After graduating from SMU, I worked as the Managing Director For Stage # 1 in Dallas. Then I moved to NYC and was hired as the Finance Director for Music-Theatre Group. I was next hired as the Managing Director for New Repertory Theater in Newton, MA. While working in Boston, a colleague from SMU, who was working as the Executive Director for Hawaii Opera Theater, called me to request my resume so he could pass it on to one of his board members who was also on the search committee for Diamond Head Theater's board of directors. I was hired as the Producing Director for Diamond Head Theater and stayed for three seasons but left because of disagreements I had with the board of directors over the selection of plays and musicals being produced. I choose to stay in Hawaii and changed careers to sales. I worked for eight years for Genesys Conferencing and now work as a Senior Account Manager for Honolulu Fish Company selling gourmet fish to high end restaurants across the country.
