Ernest Paul's Story

I always wanted to be the bass voice to replace Melvin Franklin of the Temptations when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a dumb idea. But they supported me as I attended college as well as through life. As it turns out they were correct. So, I became a Voiceover Talent with the best Talent Agency in Chicago. Since May 2008 I record in a studio 3 times a week and have time to produce television programs as well as do Talk Radio. Some of my announcements are done in French. (world-wide web dot epj communications dot com) I had a Singles talk radio show for about 4 seasons on WVON and a Women's Small Business Maguzine made for radio on WMAQ Radio. Some people say I sound pretty good... I never married as well as zero kids, because of my crush on Jan Barber (class of '71) and a few ladies from the Class of '70 (y'all know who you are...) My favorite way to blow off steam is to find a golf course and shoot until I am relaxed. Then I will start playing the game. After playing on the Peter Jan's Golf course, I always stop in Hecky's. This a good day! The wildest thing I ever did in school was stand by as Larry "Lou John" Johns...Expand for more
on and Charles King to steal Ben Bridge's brown leather jacket. I later completed the Actuarial Science Program at DePaul University in Chicago. And promised I would buy Ben a new jacket when I saw, again. If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have a car, and a 100 dollar bill to be able to deal with the day-to-day. My heroes have always been Avon Gillespie and Hecky Powell. Avon taught me how to stand alone in the faces of my persecutors. And not to give into abuse. Hecky showed me how to succeed...Keep workin' 'til you get it right! When I need inspiration I remember how the ETHS classes would rise against discrimination and the wrong doing against a fellow student. And the songs I sung with Herman Ruff after wrestling practices. I lived in a variety of neighborhoods in Chicago (Hyde Park, Bronzeville, Westside, southside suburbs) while working in real estate ventures. I moved and currently residing in Joliet, IL. to build some low income housing. I am obessessed to help women succeed, so I created for television the WOMEN'S MONEY MAGUZINE. In about 5 years I am looking to retire from media to teach highschool mathematics.
