Ernest's Story
Shadle Park was a great high school. It was new, had a park and I really enjoyed it there. I worked in the cafeteria, ran cross country track and had great teachers. I finished my senior year at Central Valley out near Opportunity.
After graduation I went to work for Boeing as a riveter on the mid section of the 707. In the fall I was activated by my Naval Air command and spent three years in the navy. Electronics school near Memphis. Then was assigned to a new aircraft carrier the USS America. Went to Cuba,...Expand for more
St. Thomas and the Mediterranean; Spain France, Italy, Greece, Lebanon and Turkey. On discharge I returned to Boeing to help build minuteman missile system, Shram missile systems. Then attended the University of Washington for a Bachelors in Business Administration. Back to Boeing as an industrial engineer and other positions. Now retired and working on my own company with a couple of other people.
As you can see in the picture my wife Gennette. We have two daughters and four grand kids. And the story goes on.
