Esther's Story
Life
Hi to all that are reading this. I married in 1995 (yes, my FIRST and only marriage!) to Michael and we live in Milwaukee, WI. Previously we lived in Phoenix, AZ. We have adopted 2 kids,Rachel and Michael. Parenting has been challenging but not without it's bright spots. I aIways wanted to be an actress when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a crazy idea. As it turns out, they were probably right. That was not to be, because from 1984-1988 I was in the US Army. The last 2 of those years I was stationed in Germany. I graduated from the University of Phoenix and have a BS in Business Admin degree. Michael is Vice President /IT Audit Manager for a well known bank here in Milwaukee. Basically, he manages a team of "computer police", monitoring the bank's computer system to make sure everything is running as it should and that there is no theft, misuse of the internet, etc., by users of the system. He finished working on his MBA and project management certification at Keller Graduate School, his final presentation being in November 2001. I joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, was baptized in May 1991. I have a cat, Olivia. She is a spayed female, very cute ...Expand for more
and beautiful and has a lot of personality. We did get another dog after Diva, a Staffordshire bull terrier and Rhodesian ridgeback (or who knows what else) mix died. She was fawn colored, very stocky and muscular, and only 35 lbs. Now we have Sasha, a spayed female Shiba-Poo (Shiba Inu and Poodle mix). She's a funny-looking dog, but cute Definitely Mike's dog.. We usually make it back to Manistee over the July 4th holiday. My favorite way to blow off steam is traveling and seeing new places, digging into work or shopping. I am also an avid Green Bay Packers fan since moving here from Phoenix. I'd really love to hear from you, so don't hesitate to contact me.
Military
Going into the military was an experience I really needed. The discipline really matured me and made me a better person. I met a lot of terrific people along the way, some I still contact. My time in Pirmasens, as they say, was "the best of times, and the worst of times". The beer, the touring/sightseeing, volksmarches, making some great friends among other things made being in a foreign country for 2 years bearable. I would go into the army again, but I just wish I had done it sooner, while I was still young and adaptable.
