Ethel's Story
I joined the Navy after High School, spent two years in the military. Didn't go too far, boot camp in Maryland, schooling in VA and stationed in Philly. Came back to Freehold, got married in 1974, have two sons and two grandsons with one more on the way. suffered multiply strokes last year, so he needs a lot of guidance which he gets between myself and my oldest son. I really don't have time to do much but when I do, it's either going out to dinner or just meeting up with some friends for a few drinks. My husband and sons belong to the Elks Lodge and I'm a member of the American Legion, so that's pretty much where we usually go.
