Ethel's Story
Catch 'em up on what you've done and who you are. I graduated Anaheim High School and went to work for DisneyLand in Calif. for this summer. In the fall I went to Fullerton College for two years. In 1961 I went to work for the Telephone Company in Garden Grove. Thats where I met my husband to be Douglas Grigg. He was divorced and had two daughters. On our second date I told him if we were to be serious, I would like to be Married on Valentine's Day (1964) He was shocked and teased that he beat his wifes once and day and twice on Sunday. I knew it wasn't true. We have been married for 45 years this Valentine's Day. We wanted 5 kids and in a hurray. My husband thought he was old at 32. The Lord blessed us with 5 in three years. Wow!! was I overwhelmed! We now have 30 Grandkids and 12 Great-Grandkids and we are happy. We live in a little town outside of Boise, Idaho called Kuna, on an acre and half of property and a big creek going by. We have two of our children living nearby. We are retired and enjoying it. We sometimes travel around the U.S. in our RV, otherwise we stay home and spoil our Grandkids.
