Life After graduating ERHS in '59, I entered and graduated RCA Institute of Technology in NYC 21/2 years later, worked for IBM over a year, and also for Servo-Tek in communications research in NJ until my draft notice came in 1964. In order to avoid a Vietnam experience, I enlisted in the Army Security Agency for 4 years and after basic and AIT, was assigned to Rothwesten, Germany until my discharge in 1968. During my tour in Germany, I formed an American showband called "The Panics" playing various gigs in northern Germany both on the economy and U.S. Military bases playing guitar. bass and trumpet with 5 other army buddies. After returning home, I started my own electronics servicing business covering northern NJ for over 10 manufacturers with my younger brother as partner. Seven years later, I left the NJ ratrace to return to my Pennsylvania roots in Drums (near Hazleton). I got married June, 1974 to a Pa. native girl I met in NJ. We had a boy and girl in that order, now grown and successful in their chosen professions. We are still happily together after 31 years. 7 years...Expand for more
