Eugene's Story
Hello, It was suggested by Old Friend Randy Richardson many times to get on this site. Upon doing so another Old friend Larry King requested a story. Seeing his Face on picture and quick acknowledgement brought smile to my face and heart as with all of you, Brother Hussain being first to shout-out.
My story a long one as all of our stories are at this point in time. I have had many adventures since 1972.
The death of friends beginning Dec 1972, and Judy Massey Jan. 1973 stopped my world and altered my life. I began spiritual quest and journey that has been key track of my life, coupled with being in the Steel Business since 1973 as well. These two tracks have taken me many places. I have been married twice 1st for 4 years with my second Wife and I together now 28 years. I have 5 Sons, 2 of which are Special-needs they are now grown and will be with us always. My youngest now 24 married my Oldest a Career Navy-Man my second Oldest Johnathan Working in Nashville. I miss all of my friends, I have never forgotten any of you. Life's demands and its mysteries take us sometimes far from home. I have lived away from Indlps many years from Tulsa Ok. Chicago to Philadelphia to Chicago to Sedona Arizona to Chicago and L.A. now for last 10-1/2 years. The 2 tracks mentioned before and Family keep me busy. My Parents Blessed Souls that they are now fragile, ill but still hanging on with rest of my Family in Indpls. I get back but quick missions generally consumed with quality time with them. I work for Trading Company that is [part of Toyota known as Toyota Tsusho Tsusho means trading in Japanese. I am Steel Trader and Broker and have been since 1980, I've owned Automotive Stamping Companies in Detroit my Own Steel Company, gone broke gotten back up and down and up, such is the life of a Trader. Through it all the lessons I learned from East-Side of Indpls enabled me to combat any number of different challenges a-long the way. The life of a searcher on "the warriors-path" being my platform. I have been too long away from you friends and beg forgiveness for such absence. From earlier lesson very hard upon young life I realized Life short and ones we love should not be taken for granted. Too many of our fellow sojourners have already crossed-over-to the great-Blue-Road of Spirit and I regret not having seen them. I intend to rectify that now. My job extremely demanding, I am HQ-ed out of N.Y. and am responsible for my Section from Coast to Coast, just returning from N.Y. now but wanted to begin to re-connect with all of you who were key part of my life. I may not be able to respond quickly but I will respond. I was on my way to 2002 Reunion but side-tracked by Business problem in Chicago and never made it. I will always regret I did not make it, but have learned, " that everything happens for a reason" I will see you at the appointed time.
