Eunice's Story
Married since Sept. 1964 to Ken. Have 2 grown sons, both married. Have 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. I am a born-again Christian,active in my church until recently. Have been diagnosed with terminal cancer and am at peace with it. Am a trained Stephen Minister Leader and love confidentially being there for someone going through struggles. Life has been good. When the Lord's purpose for my life is complete, I am ready to go Home. Until then, He is Lord and I trust Him for the rest of my journey. I...Expand for more
think I am remembered as being stuck-up in school. I wasn't, I was an introvert who couldn't join in then because of lack of self-confidence but really because, then, I didn't know Jesus. Planned on being an accountant until I met Ken. Ken, as my husband, is the best thing that has happened to me...except for coming to know Jesus. Marrying Ken gave me 2 sons I'm very proud of (served 6 years each in the Navy), 2 wonderful daughter-in-laws that are truly now my daughters, and 6 grandchildren. I am content.
