For as long as I can remember, I wanted to be a wife and a mother when I grew up. When I became a Christian, I wanted to be a missionary wife or a preachers wife. After high school, I attended Baptist Bible College in Springfield, MO. I studied elementary education. I married a tall, handsome preacher boy. I was now a preachers wife. I loved full time ministry. Had three kids pretty quick. Lived in Rochester, N.Y., Souther California, Washington state, Dallas Texas and Oregon. We worked with young married couples primarily. We started a church in Rancho Bernardo, CA and were there for quite few years when my husband suffered burn out. He left the ministry and we moved to Oregon where he went into the insurance business. After 22 years of marriage he heard the 'call of the wild' and took off from the family. Along the way I began to get involved with grooming dogs. The Lord knew I would need it in the future.
