Rebecca's Story
Life
Life is full of twists and mine has a few. I'm FINALLY married to Ronnie Evans after all these years and couldn't be happier! I'm in the Air Force, have seen my share of duty locations from Germany, Guam, Kuwait, Afghanistan and even Iraq a couple of times. My oldest is in the Army and I'm not sure if I can do the parent support job as well as my parents did for me. But his year in Iraq proved that I am capable of supporting him. My son has given me an 8 year old Grandson and an almost 5 year old grandaughter that I have enjoyed spending my time off with, it is definately different than my own kids. My daughter just had her youngest, so I have an almost two year old and a three week old granddaughters that are so beautiful! My youngest is growing like a weed, I can't believe she is already 15 years old and in the 10th grade. I am still trying to figure out where all the time went.
School
School was a once in a life time event that I don't want to go back and visit. I had plenty of friends, but I was very lonely. I treasure the few close friends I had in school.
College

Workplace
I'm in the Military, not much to say about other kinds of work.
Military
I joined the Air Force in May 1992 and have enjoyed the experience from day one, Yes I enjoyed basic training. I have been stationed at Little Rock, Arkansas was a Mapper, had a few rough TDY's to Las Vegas, California and Lousiana. Left Little Rock and Moved to Guam (small island west of Hawaii) I LOVED IT! I mean it was a very hard experience to enjoy, but someone had to and I will admit, I was more than happy to do my part. I would have stayed there forever, but we all know how kids can be and well I needed help with my son, so we put in to come back home to Oklahoma and I've been at Tinker AFB since Aug 1998, which seems like an eternity. I've been several places since coming home, I've gone to several locations in the states and worked in Germany, Kuwait, and even Iraq and Afghanistan. Some places I don't ever want to revisit. Overall I'm happy with the career choices I've made in my life and the only thing I would change, I would have done it earlier!
