Evelyn Cook:  

After High School, I attended Henderson State College and graduated with a teaching degree in 1974. At that time, I moved from Arkansas and lived in a variety of cities including Pittsburgh, LA, and Philadelphia. In the early eighties, I finally settled in New Jersey where I now live with the love of my life for 27 years. Though the degree from Henderson was in teaching, I have worked in business all these years. Searching for a job in Los Angeles started a new career in 1976 when I joined a staffing agency interviewing and placing others in better jobs. I found that helping other people with job searches was very rewarding. Now, I work for the world's largest staffing company and just celebrated 21 years with Adecco. As Joe and I prepare for our future retirement, we are traveling nationally and internationally. We have learned to appreciate that you must be in good physical condition to keep up with the rigorous pace of tour groups and to see the world. During some of our recent trips in the US, we have occasionally taken time to search for housing in the warmer climate states for our future retirement years.
