Evelyn Callaway:  

After Graduation from Southeast I attended the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and Graduated in May of 1973. I returned to Kansas City and taught in the Public Schools for three years. I moved to Little Rock,Arkansas and attended Graduate School at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and became certified in Early Childhood Education in 1977. I attended the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and received a MEd in Vocational Home Economics in 1982. I have taught in the Little Rock Public Schools since 1976. I began teaching at the "Infamous" Little Rock Central High school. During that time I met all of the Little Rock Nine and their Mentor Daisy Bates was a dear friend. This is the my 35th year in Education and I am current the Department Chair of the Career and Technical Department at J.A.
