Evelyn's Story
Life
In 2003 I retired from the Administrative Assistant position with the Rotary Club of Fort Worth after 15 exciting years.
In November of 2003 our daughter and son-in-law had their first child after 12 years of marriage. Our son-in-law accepted a position with Harcourt Assessments in San Antonio. Harcourt is now Pearson, and Randy has had a very successful career with them. From May 2004 until March 2005 I lived with them and helped care for our wonderful grandson David. My husband, Claude (class of WFSH 1952) kept the home fires burning in Fort Worth with frequent visits to San Antonio. I am now back in Fort Worth, but still spend a lot of time in San Antonio.
Our older son, David, is deceased. Our son Keith, lives near and has an adorable daugher, Kayla. She is 17 years old. She plays trombone in her high school band.

he workforce. I love to workout at our Fitness Club and do so 4 to 6 times per week. We enjoy attending movies, the Bass Hall, and outings with friends.
Our reunion in October 2006 was really fun.
UPDATE: (January 2013) Our precious son, Keith, is now deceased. His daughter, Kayla, is 20 and attending college. Our grandson, David, is 9 years old and my BFF. Our daughter and son-in-law have adopted a precious little 16-month-girl named Sophia. Life goes on.
(Update 2015)We have moved to San Antonio and are living in the Emerald Oaks Retirement Resort. It's wonderful! No cooking, no cleaning. We love it here. We are two miles from our precious grandchildren, David & Sophia. They love where we live. There is an Arcade with air hockey and other game machines, an ice cream machine and a popcorn machine. they visit often and we love it every time they do. Life is good.
