Evelyn's Story
You may not remember me, because I was extremely shy and only interacted with a few people.
We ate lunch together every day on the grass. Bishop Conaty grounds were so beautiful. It was a great group of women, I hope to see many of you there. Some of the people in the group were Margie Yanez,Joan Moreno, Elsie Santillian, Hilde Schite (? sp), Lupe Hernandez,Sandra E. and others I fail to recall names but can see their faces so clearly. I remember how much fun we had when we had sleepovers at Elsie's and Joan's homes . There were the dances too, those were my favorites. After or before the prom we went to Margie's house. There was a lot of dancing & fun there!
After a few years I made some more friends including Carolyn Forrest, Rosalind Gilbert, Lezlie Borden(?sp) and others of their group. We sometimes went to parties. I remember playing bingo at Rosalind's and having dinner at Carolyn's. I remember so many good times.

ame an LVN like my cousin. Before I graduated I got married and few years later had 2 children. My husband strongly encouraged me to become an RN. What I really liked about nursing was the teaching.
I stopped working due to an on the job injury in 1999. I have been a homemaker since then.
I really enjoy learning about and teaching the Bible. I dabble in painting and other arts & crafts. I will always cherish the time my daughter and I spent making all her wedding decorations together in 2007. Haven't done much since then though. I hope to paint a picture & send it out to family this christmas.
I'm still quiet, always thinking & annalyzing things but I am able to look people in the eye and listen to their stories now.
My husband Alfred is the "star" of our family. He is outgoing & funny. A real character. I hope you will be able to meet him at the reunion.
I'll be sipping tea, enjoying watching the rest of you enjoy your buffet.
