Evelynn-Joy's Story
I was in the class of 73 but graduated early. I was Evelyn Kight then. I went on to Chaffey Jr. College and graduated in 1974. I later joined the AF and stayed in for over nine years and separated in Anchorage. I received a BSW and BA in Sociology for the University of Alaska-Anchorage and a MS in vocational Counseling at LaVerne. a teacher for the Hemet Unified School District. I have been doing that for over 16 years. I have a son and daughter. I am married to a teacher in Hemet who has retired but works full-time as a home/hospital teacher and occasionally as a sub. I am a Union rep and have been elected several years to attend the National Educational Assembly in places like DC, Phily, Orlando, New Orleans, etc.
