FRANCIS's Story
I left Cannonsburg and joined the Navy in September of 1965. Got into the Nuclear program and after Nuclear Power school and protype made it through submrine school and got stationed on the USSN Greenling where I spent 3 1/2 years. After the Navy, I got a job working for an Engineering/Artechnology company that built Nuclear Power Stations. While working there, I obtained a Mechanical Engineering degree from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. before taking a job with Boston Edison to work as a field engineer at their Plymouth Power Station where I retired from in 2011. Along the way, I got married and have 2 childern, one is a school teacher and the other owns his own business and both are doing well. My hobbies are reading and playing golf and I can tell you I am a better reader than golfer. If you read this I hope some of you remember me but back then, I was a really shy person and I haven't changed must over the years. I still hold back and talk to people I get to know.
