David's Story
Life
I have two children a boy(3 year old), and a girl(7 year old). Gabriel Zane Fairbanks, and Savannah Jane Fairbanks.I am also married to a true Southern Bell, born and raised right here in Georgia. They are my life and inspiration to become the man that I am. I am in the construction trade remodeling primarily, I work for a local company named Bone Dry Roofing. I am a salesman/project manager there. (We have a web-site under our name.) I also own two companies, one in new home construction (Solid Ground Contractors) and the other in real estate investment.(DASZ Properties)The investment company has been doing the best so far. Right now total values add close to a million. Not bad for an old poor boy from Blue Ridge. Well I didn't do it alone, I had help from a few people along the way and for that I will forever be grateful. I had a girlfriend in high school that I was undeserving to know that kept me alive through some times that even she was unaware of. mother that also made a huge difference in my life. She accepted me as I was, and made me believe that I could change my future for a better life for myself. Two people believing in one person, this was the catylist in which I moved forward. I joined Job Corps which then opened a door to the military, which opened a door to college. But along the way the biggest door that was opened was the door to my heart, the day I let Jesus into my life. I became a new person never to see the old me again. For those of you reading this you may not of even knew me or remember me. I was a serious achoholic and a drug addict in school. I loved to fight and would often try to hide behind humor to hide the real me. There were things that happened to me that I will not even begin to describe here. But they are only worth mentioning so that the impact that Jesus has made in my life be so evidently strong and powerful to those that know me now. I wrote this mostly for me, but also so those that have impacted my life can know that I always thinking about them and I am so grateful to have known them.
