Faith's Story
Life
Things never turn out like you planned in your head. Some better some not, but as long as your Happy then that is what truly matters in this life. I married in 1983, to Steve Dixon, he grad. from Mel-high in 1976. ^ months after our wedding and 5 days after we found out we were expecting our 1st baby, my husband was drowned in Lake Washington after an airboat accident in Jan. 2-84. 8 months later I gave birth to our daughter Joy Arlene, 8lb 2 oz. When Joy was 1 yr. old, I bought a home in June Park Subdivison in West Melbourne. I ended up later marrying my neighbor and having 3 more babies. John is a Brevard County firefighter/EMT. He started working for them in 1974. I was in 9th grade at that time. David Hover and Kevin Cowart from our Eau Gallie High group have worked with my husband John Ross. John is older than them and he is retiring Sept. 1, 2007.
I worked various jobs and had 4 children and was lucky enuf to stay...Expand for more
home with all of them, brest-feed for ever and such. I went to school in 1995 and received my Florida Real Estate License. I have been working at Melbourne Realty, Inc. since January 1996 and love my job. My office is across the street from the Melbourne Municipal Golf Course on New Haven.
My oldest is Joy who graduated from FSU last spring and has been accepted into Gainesville Pharmacy fall program. She is going for her Doctrate in Pharmacy. The girl is focused-better than I ever was. Myla my 19 yr. daughter is working at Cinemaworld as a supervisor and attending BCC. Spencer my 17 yr. son attends Mel-High and is now on the varsity Football team. Dean my youngest also attends Mel-high, going into 11th grade this fall. He loves math, math and more math.
