College I attended Grove City College and graduated in 1983. Grover life back then was great. I enjoyed the small college atmosphere and really got to know my professors. A charter member of Delta Chi Omega, I became the sorority historian, (the first sightings of me behind a camera). Dr. Hilda Kring, English Ed. supervisor, made sure all her teachers were well-prepared for the classroom. Student teaching at Grove City High School in the tenth grade set the stage for my career at Clear Spring Maryland. In 1990, I left Maryland and finished my Masters in Library Science at Clarion University. My first library position was as a children's librarian at Peoples Library in New Kensington/Lower Burrell. After four years in the public library, I returned to public schools when I was hired as one of two school librarians at Shaler Area High School.
