Faith's Story
Well, its been a long time since the GF days but I don't think I've changed very much. Still don't quite fit into any one particular group and kind of like to make my own way in my own time.
So... I left GF and went straight to nursing school but dropped out after a year and a half to get married. That didn't last long and 4 yrs and a baby boy later I found myself single again. I remarried at 27 and finished college soon after. I have since had 2 more kids and after living all over Northern VA (Dale City, Westridge, Centreville) the kids and I moved to the Charlotte NC area while my husband was deployed in Afghanistan with the VA National Guard. to the States and we have been here for about 3 years.
I work as a flight nurse flying around nightly in the helicopter saving lives and trying to make a difference in the world. Since moving here I have taken up a lot more outdoor activities with mountain biking being my favorite right now. I work with mostly guys and as anyone who remembers me can imagine, I get along MUCH better this way! I've always been more comfortable hanging with the guys even though its a LOT of fun to play the 'girl card' every now and again :) I have to admit that I didn't expect for my 40's to be so much fun!!
