Fay's Story

After Hamilton High went to a Santa Monica Trade School for a year and the subject I was trying to master was not appealing and was not me. Found a job with the Bendix Corporation where I worked for 15 years. Married during that time moved to Northern California in 1969. Went to San Mateo Community College and continued my college education in Business Administration. Worked again for 15 years for one airline. The airline merged with another airline in Minneapolis which I chose not to follow, so I retired. From that point on, I worked for two hotels until 2000. That is when I retir...Expand for more
ed for good. Moved to Prescott, Arizona afterwards for peace and solitude and found it. Having a wonderful retirement in an area that has three seasons, spring, summer, and fall, my favorite is when it snows up here. Living in a beautiful home on two plus acres, three dogs and 12 cats. I keep real busy with two societies, one of which I was the Vice President. I can't say I'm bored because between the two societies, landscaping two acres, luncheons, program appearances, the Rodeo,Prescott Chamber of Commerce Chairperson and reenactments there are days my feet don't hit the ground.
