Faye's Story

I'm nearing 42 and I used to worry about what I hadn't done versus what I have. I married at 28 in Vegas and settled in Chicago along with my husband of 14 years three dogs (one of whom I just lost about a month ago) and a bird. We have a nice house on the north side and even though we are huge Sox fans (Go Paul Konerko), live much closer to Wrigley than I care to. Traffic is always a nightmare on game days...I quit my job of two years as a legal secretary at a very prestigious firm because I grew tired of the rat race and having to be somewhere all the time. xation (because after seven months of doing nothing, it's exactly what I need at this point)....My youngest sister, Hannah, is close in proximity and we get together often. She's a paralegal at the firm I left before my last stint. My other sister, Crys, lives in Aurora with her husband and two kids. Dad just retired from St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Chicago Heights and mom spends her time taking care of older folks who need care from time to time. Everyone is healthy which is the main thing. Things are good but I'm just amazed how time passes -- it used to drag when I was in school. Look forward to the reunion. I hope everyone is well.
