Renee Jackson:  

Life I Graduated from Cleveland High in 1989, graduated from Pierce College with an AA degree in Liberal Studies in 2001, and graduated from CSUN in 2004 with a BA degree in Child and Adolescent Development. A good portion of my life has been dedicated to providing much needed service to at–risk children, adolescents and their families. I have worked with the at-risk population, in some form or another, since 1990. Along the way, I have done many things relating to the growth and development of children and their families. I have taught underprivileged children; worked with hard-core gang members fresh out of juvenile hall; supervised, coached and mentored first and second year CSUN Child Development majors learning to work with young children and their families; spoke at the International Child and Youth Care Conference in Victoria, Canada representing American students in the field; co-created and spoke at the Hispanic Woman’s Conference at the L.A.
