Fidel's Story
That I've been married to the same person for 38 years and she's still crazy for me; and don't have any children.
That I can fly small aircraft.
That I've been building my own homebuilt aircrraft - first a Rutan Long Eze, then a Cozy Mark IV.
That I've lived in Chengdu, China for 6 weeks.
That I remember things better than they think.
That my job is building large cargo jets (C-17)for the Air Force.
That my all-time favorite Mexican singer will always be: Javier Solis.
That although I can be a spender, I've proved to be a good investor.
That I've never tired of Ansel Adams' photographs.
That I don't drink, smoke, or take drugs, or ever have.
I consider myself a lucky person.
In 2010 ran into a SUV that ran a red light and only felt the softness of the airbag on my face.
"Another perfect day!" I love LA.
I climbed Mt, Whitney, near Lone Pine, but that was when I was 16.
Love plums that are ripe right off the tree.
Have loved movies and books most of my life.
Have a black English labrador. Her name is Joy.
You could say I don't know what I'm missing not having kids. But then I could also say you don't know what you're
missing having them. Everything has a good side and a bad side.
I love it when it rains and also windy days because the air gets clean.
Current favorite foods: Paella, jumbo shrimp, New England Clam Chowder.
I'm thinking about retiring from Boeing next year (1213), and will be looking forward to waking up at 9 or 10am, instead of 4am.
Mrs. Irma Todd because I had a crush on her (I'm sure a lot of 16 year olds like me did).
---------------------------------
I learned about flying and fixing planes at Long Beach City College. I had to get an inter-district permit to attend it because I lived outside of Long Beach.
---------------------------------
Someone who wasn't wild and crazy.

ong time already.
---------------------------------
That My father died when I was just 24.
---------------------------------
Be a Botanist. I would love to know a lot more about plant life than I do now.
---------------------------------
Installing reverse-osmosis water purifiers in people's homes. Some women tried seducing me with fine words, liquor, and panties. Some actually did. I
didn't say I was perfect.
---------------------------------
I've lived less than 20 miles from Lincoln Heights all except my first 5 years. I love the weather, except on smoggy days. It's a lot better here than the cold in northwest Ohio, where I was born.
