Fiona's Story

Life I moved away from Red Deer after my grade 10 year at Lindsay Thurber. My family moved to the area my dad grew up on Vancouver Island. I finished my last two years of high school, and moved to Vancouver where I studied geology at UBC. After receiving my BSc, I began working in the NorthWest Territories for various mining companies. ote locations in the arctic, working on grass roots exploration to mining operations. After 7 years of this I decided I was more interested in pursuing my love of graphic design and combining it with my knowledge and experience of the mining industry. For the last few years I have been operating my own business, Geodesignworks Multimedia. I also work fulltime for Hunter Dickinson Inc.
