Linda's Story
My first job was at Cullett's Fashions, my Uncle's dress shop while I was still in school, where I got paid nothing to sell clothing. What a deal he got, free labor from myself and two of my sisters!!! What I remember most about it though was it was fun, within walking distance from home, and friends always dropped by.
I have three handsome sons and one beautiful daughter from my 24 year marriage to Kenneth. Currently I have five beautiful active grandchildren, who I adore. It's funny because I remember telling my children it did not matter to me if I became a grandmother or not. Now, I can't imagine not being one!
I remember how crazy it became when all four of my children were in school and sports....I also played softball for 18 yrs. We had something every night of the week, sports or school events.
I taught swimming for the Red ...Expand for more
Cross for nine years, in conjunction with the Back Yard Swim Program, which I absolutely loved. It warmed my heart to watch the children I taught and advanced from year to year. It was great when a child went from a fear of the water to jumping off in the deep end and loving it! I love being in the water...swimming, boating, jet skiing...I also like camping, quad riding....love the Oregon Dunes, except when I crashed the last time!!!
I worked off and on in an office environment while my children were growing up. After divorcing I went back to school and received my AA degree in Business Administration. I recently left Paychex, Inc. where I worked as the Branch Administrative Assistant.
I am currently focusing on being a Mary Kay Consultant and enjoying semi-retirement, my children, grandchildren, life in general and some traveling.
