Flora's Story
For years I was married and raised kids. Kept hoping to go to college and become a CRNA (certified Registered Nurse Anethisist. So at 37 I became a firefighter in Bellview Florida. Then I started college taking my generals to get my nursing degree. In between I took EMT (emergency medical tech) then started nursing degree. By that time my goal of CRNA became a bachelors degree. So while still raising two small boys I plunged into that program. I figured I would draw Social Security before that happened. I did not have time or money to become a doctor. So I gave up. pice. I worked an AIDS unit for a few years. Too sad to work at too long.
I am married with four children. Two of each, & 6 grandchildren.
I do not remember much about high school. I think we were all trying to grow up too fast and worried about what everyone else thought of us. God isn't life too short to worry about it. Now is the best time of our lives. We are old enough to slow down and enjoy life. RETIRE!!! I need to get back to Calif. again. I would love to see everyone again.
We have all changed so much, for the better. We do not look the same but look into the eyes. They are the same. Miss you all hope to see you again soon. Have a good life and retirement.
