Florence's Story

Hi to everybody !! Here's a short bio update: I graduated from University of South Florida, here in Tampa, in 1968. Then spent about 20 years in teaching, assisting, shelter-workshops, and job-coaching special needs individuals -- from elementary ages to adults. Along the way I was married, divorced, and blessed with 2 daughters, now both college grads, grown and successfully out on their own -- one local, and one in Georgia. (No grandkids -- at least not yet.) In 1993 I segeued into the healthcare field --getting my Florida Massage Therapist license in 1997 and...Expand for more
my Master's degree in 1999. I work regular clinic hours, and am now writing my Dissertation and -- the Gods of Academia willing -- expect to have my PhD. in the spring of 2009. So, I'm what you might call busy. My husband, Dallas is a Chiropractic physician; we have been partners since 1993. He is also working on his PhD. -- so understandably we do not spend much time just "hanging' out" !! We live in Lutz, Florida. A used-to-be-semi-rural area just to the North of Tampa. Our clinic is in Tampa. That's kinda the nuts and bolts of where I have been and am now.
