Fran Higgins:  

After grad, attended Del Mar College for 3 years. Worked at various jobs in Corpus, then moved to Houston in 1973. Went to work for Union Oil Company of California in Houston and worked there until 1992 when I took "early" retirement. In 1990, I took an Aromatherapy Certification Course and in 1991, got my Massage Therapy License. All in preparation for leaving the oil and gas business. I worked for an Acupuncturist from 1992-1997 and had a private massage practice during that same time. In 1997, I became an Educator for Source Vital, a manufacturer of skin and body care products. My first year there I went back to school and got my Esthetics license (for doing facials). My primary duty was to train massage therapists and estheticians to do treatments. No one who knew me in high school would believe I would be doing something like that. In June 2009, I took over as acting Production Manager for our manufacturing area until Oct 2015. At that time, became VP of Business for the company for administrative activities and still continuing as primary Educator.
