Life

School
My boyfriend was Bob McCracken. The teacher who inspired me the most was Helen Aupperle, the art teacher. Would I do it all over again? Absolutely not! I had some rough times in high school, with the death of my father in my sophomore year. Things got better in college at University of Utah in Salt Lake City.
College

ten years and went to work as a mother, part-time waitress, librarian, house-keeper. Bought a house and a car, went back to school at Sonoma State University, then San Francisco Art Institute. I worked my buns off!
Workplace
My worklife has progressed from waitress, housekeeper to junior college instructor. After my return to college to get an MFA degree in art at the San Francisco Art Institute, I was hired at California State University, Sacramento to teach drawing, painting, and electronic art. I am a digital and traditional (oil painting artist, and have become a computer geek, in addition to my other professional persuits.
