Life
Hmm... what can I say? I'm still a geek, mostly...reading books, doing crafts, weird sense of humor, etc. I teach high school English, which probably won't be that much of a surprise for anybody. What does bug me a bit now is that most of my students were born after I graduated! That really feels weird to me. Especially when they refer to the 80's as "back in the day," and 80's music as "oldies". NO--oldies are what my parents listen to!! I'm not old yet!! I'm convinced I will never grow up. Neither will my husband, so we're a good match. We just celebra...Expand for more
ted our 6th anniversary in April 2008. In May we celebrated our daughter's first birthday. Elizabeth Dawn Harville (we call her Ella) was born May 2007, and has changed our lives forever. Who knew being parents could make life so much more fun? :) We also have an aging golden retriever with bad breath and poor hearing, and who spends most of her time pretending to be a lumpy carpet. I don't have any spectacular skills or stories...just an ordinary chick enjoying life and doing her best to corrupt the minds of impressionable teenagers in the greater Olympia area.
