Francine's Story
Life
I have 2 nephews, Zachary and Evan who make their Auntie proud!!
And I have 2 daughters Jessica and Amanda, that although they don't know it, they make me even prouder! (I love you both.) They have already done great things in their young lives, and I know they will continue to do so, whether or not they know I am keeping tabs.....
I have made hard decisions taking the road less travelled, but the decisions I made were not without sacrifice and heartache. I hope someday the people that my decisions affected the most will come to realize, that some of my choices were a selfless act, and made entirely for their benefit and well being....
Many a time, I have fallen on my face, but thank God I still have boot strings left to pick myself up and try again....What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, right?? **if you can believe that kind of bs...***
On a lighter note, I have a cute 3 lb. teacup pomeranian that has a bigger attitude than I do. She thinks she is a St. Bernard!!
I am the owner of vast farmland in S. America (6 miles sq in Brazil to be exact), I also own 5 houses, a restaurant, a bar, and retail store front. I am fluent in the language/culture. Ask me what I am doing here stateside still, and I will tell you that I am still renovating. Someday when I have fulfilled my dreams here I may retire there.

d solice in the cresting waves on any coast. If you have never enjoyed quiet beach time, I highly recommend it. It is "Chicken Soup for the soul"!!!
College
Classes never seem to end. (Night school is for the birds...) I think my second career is as a student... Although they say we never stop learning so I guess that it's appropriate.
However insignificant my diploma might be to me in the job market, I know that I will have completed the journey that I set out on no matter how long it takes. That alone brings me much satisfaction.
Workplace
Oracle has given me wings to fly. I have finally landed a job that challenges me, and is allowing me the ability to grow. I am a business analyst, and support to the VP of Mid Market Strategy for all of North America. I am involved in some exciting new initiatives, and am hoping to make Oracle my final career stop!!! I know that my growth here is only limited by my own ambition. All my hard work both at school, and on the job has taken me a rung higher to have earned this position!! The sweat and tears have been worth the ride. It is nice to finally be recognized for what I am capable of...
I own my own business making jewelry (bridal, gold/silver, fashion etc...) and I sell beads/semi precious stones. I am hoping that this will continue to flourish, I have been lucky so far.
