Francine's Story
Life
Hi, Well, if anyone reads this they know my beginnings in Kansas City. Life has been and is wonderful and full, I have many blessings. Throughout the years I have lived in Tucson, AZ and love the desert, mountains, sunsets, and close proximity to the ocean, skiing, Mexico and California. Professionally I spent the first 25 years teaching marketing and business subjects at Pima Community College - received my Ph.D. in higher education and minor in marketing in late 90's. I thought administration would be fun but decided to stay in teaching.
About three years ago I retired from teaching and started a second career in real estate - something I had always planned on doing since I had acquired some income properties over the years and really love real estate. That was a good choice since real estate has been exceptionally good the last couple of years.
Personally speaking, I was married by 20 - my husband was an officer in the Navy and we were stationed in Guam - traveled the Orient - Japan, Thailand, Phillipines, South Pacific - during the start up o...Expand for more
f Vietnam. Became involved in the martial arts - worked for our black belts in Judo, Jujitsu and Akido (sp.). Returned to Tucson - was divorced around mid-70's and moved to Kansas City and taught at the KCK Junior College for three years. Married Phil Trotter from Wyondotte HS and moved back to Tucson. Phil and I had one daughter - Bly who is now 24 and has one daughter. We were married until 1987 - I have been divorced since - had couple of serious relationships but stayed busy with raising Bly, working, getting my Ph.D. and trying to have a social life.
My goals now are to stay healty - I work out regularly, play tennis, bought a new road bike for my birthday, traveled to Germany in May and a cruise to Alaska last August. Life is good. At present I am interested in finding a companion for the last third of the journey. I still have my good Midwest values but have become independent over the years - had to!! I love adventure and life and want to live it to the fullest.
Well, it would be fun to hear from some old friends.
