Francine's Story
Fun to hear what people have done and are doing. Hard to believe it has been 47 years since graduation!! Somehow I became Gold although I don't visit this site very often. Now that I am retired,I am looking forward to what the next part of life will bring. Up to now, I have traveled, volunteered, made chocolate truffles, had one daughter, one husband and two grandchildren. Saved lots of kids as a school counselor. went to the wedding of Paul Tsongas, candidate for president before he got ill from cancer, as his wife was a friend of mine.I was present at open heart surgery when the chief of anesthesiology at Children's Hospital, who was my boss at the time, invited me to watch, much to the chagrin of the surgeon operating. Thrill of a lifetime, to see somebody holding a heart in their hand. Who thought in those days that we would see the first black president elected in the U.S. Gives one hope for greater things to come.Love watching Dancing with the Stars and Grey's Anatomy.
