Francine Locke's Story
Francine is from Antlers, Oklahoma. Francine's schools include Oak Park River Forest High School. Francine later attended Indiana University â Purdue University Indianapolis. In 1965 I moved with my family to Indianapolis, IN and lived there with my husband, Michael, until 2012 when we moved to my ancestral home - Antlers, OK. I am Choctaw and was being "called" to return to where my ancestors settled. I have been working first with a small museum in McAlester, OK as their archivist and curator. r the Choctaw and Gilbert Jones Colonial Spanish Mustangs. My husband and I help in the care of the horses and I do research and writing about them as well as marketing. For more information on these amazing horses, now the Heritage Horse of Oklahoma, visit our website The Spirit of Blackjack Mountain. We also have a Facebook site by the same name and one named The Spanish Mustangs of Blackjack Mountain.
