Francis's Story
Been "around the block" and have been sucessful at almost every thing I've done. I've been a N.Y.S.animal control officer-a commercial artist (still).A phisical plant engineer and manager for over twenty properties for 18 years(retired)-carpenter-plumber-cabinet maker-blacksmith-residental electrican-event electrican and lighting specialist-(still do all of that!)chief steward-(The homestead -Virginia)-have owned and operated a taxidermy business- have owned and operated german shepherd kennels-am still an art teacher and historical arts instructor.was a substitute teacher-a janitor-I've done what I had to do to make a buck and I'm still broke!-AND- that's just the tip of the iceburg! I've been blessed with three children (all adults now).My younges...Expand for more
t is due to have my first female grandchild in July! My oldest girls husband has a wonderful boy from a previous relationship.I'm older,fatter,pretty bald and pretty grey and a whole lot ugler .not a pretty ptcture!I think of the people that I grew up with alot and wish that I could go back in time.Perhaps I wouldn't be such an introvert and "hardass" this time around!The biggest thing that bothers me now is knowing that it won't be alot longer before we are all forgotten.That is the one thing that we all have in common.My advice to everyone is-try real hard to leave a positive mark on this world- -and always tell your kids how much you love them, because you or they may not be "here" tomarrow.And if there's a sunset to watch-take five and enjoy it!
